Arashiyama, Kyoto, Japan

We took the train from Kyoto to Arashiyama (嵐山) to ride the Rickshaw, and to see the bamboo forest, snow monkeys, Togetsukyō (“Moon Crossing Bridge”), and the Tenryū-ji (天龍寺).  But what I enjoyed watching the most were the ladies walking around in kimonos.

In Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, we saw lots of animals including giraffes, zebras, rhinos, buffaloes, and elephants.  I think giraffe is the most beautiful.

Bran Castle, Romania

On our way from Sibiu to Bran Castle along road 73A (near Șinca Veche), we saw the locals parked their horse-carts on the field and enjoyed an afternoon with their friends and families.

Fjord, Norway

We passed by a small fjord village on our way to Undredal – another beautiful fjord village that had no road connection to the neighbouring villages until 1988.

Kalmar, Sweden

Kalmar is a small city in Småland in the south-east of Sweden, but there are so many attractions, such as Kalmar castle, Kalmar läns museum, Kullzénska cafe (one of the best cafes I’ve ever been), and Kalmar cathedral.  Kids like to hang out in the market square where the Kalmar cathedral is.

Ærø, Denmark

Ærø is a Danish Baltic Sea island in southern Denmark.  We got out of Ærøskøbing, the capital city of this island, to drive around the island to experience the rural charm, and we saw some kids out hiking and biking during their school trip.  I thought they must be the luckiest kids on earth.

This cutie cat is probably admiring how beautiful the Old Town Market Place of Warsaw is.
